  • Cloud and infrastructure on AWS
  • Greenfield builds and improving existing (brownfield) systems
  • Security — auth, data handling, and deployment practices suited to your stage
  • AI-assisted development — using Claude Code, AWS Bedrock, and Cursor safely, and reviewing generated code for security holes, bugs, and shortcuts before they ship

About

I'm Daniel Betteridge, based in Western Australia's South West. I work with businesses across the region, with a particular focus on the Cape to Cape area.

I spent five years in SME IT support and customer service before moving into software development. Over the past twelve years I've worked full stack across small startups and larger multinational businesses — on both greenfield projects and brownfield systems that needed careful improvement.
